Konnichiwa! From Japan

This postcard series celebrates Osaka, Kyoto, and Okayama — destinations for Appalachian State University’s study abroad programs. Inspired by the handwritten letters my grandmother sent me from abroad as a child, I sought to capture that same warmth and nostalgia. Each design reflects the unique character of the prefectures I researched while honoring the timeless tradition of connecting through heartfelt, handwritten messages.
